• Accounts receivable/collections           
  • Accounts payable
  • Banking relations/daily monitoring of bank accounts/deposits
  • Monthly financials
  • Year-end financial reports
  • Sales tax (currently: 5 states)
  • Account reconciliations
  • Tax preparation together with an outside accounting firm
  • Completion of year-end tax worksheets for the parent company in Germany
  • Oversight of inventory/cost of goods transactions, in partnership with another warehouse in Honduras  
  • Collaboration with the German headquarters on financial matters

Human Resources

  • Time sheets
  • Bi-monthly payroll in collaboration with an external payroll provider
  • Employee benefits
  • PTO administration
  • Employee bonuses/commissions

Additional tasks:

  • Business/vehicle insurance handling
  • Office supplies
  • Coordination of maintenance and repairs
  • Support with the purchase of fixed assets

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in finance roles, CPA certification a big plus
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
  • Knowledge of Fishbowl or another inventory software beneficial
  • Willingness to be part of a small team
