Customer Service Representative
We are engaged by our client, an international manufacturer of surface coatings, to look for a reliable Customer Service Rep to be responsible for the full order cycle and logistics. The position is located in the greater Lexington, NC area.
Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
- Open and maintains customer accounts by recording and updating account information.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange and process shipments, including logistics of transportation
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Prepares service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education and Experience
- Associate Degree or 4+ years of Customer Service and Logistics experience
- Very good MS Office skills and experience in using a CRM/ERP system
- Proven working experience within the logistics arena
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a small team, and handle multiple projects
- Can do attitude
- German language skills are highly valued
