We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join IKA Works as the Director of Sales. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets. This is a senior leadership position that requires exceptional sales expertise, strong leadership skills, and a track record of success in managing sales teams. We are looking for a visionary leader who can contribute to our growth and strategic initiatives.
The Key Duties for the Sales Director include the following:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
• Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to optimize individual and team performance.
• Set sales targets, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and track team performance against objectives.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and business partners to drive sales growth and foster long-term partnerships.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the executive team, highlighting sales performance, challenges, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
• Continuously improve sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role as a Director of Sales, with a minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced and competitive industry (ideally in a publicly traded company).
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing sales strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence cross-functional
