German valve manufacturer based on south Charlotte, NC, one of the world’s leading suppliers with more than 200 years of technical expertise and high-quality products delivered to different types of industries is looking for a high energy individual that can help drive success within our inside sales team in a technical sales role:
Technical Sales Responsibilities:
• Daily support for sales partners and customers with technical inquiries via phone or
emails.
• Support our sales network in executing and delivering a quotation based on the
information received by the customer.
• Support our sales network in executing and delivering a large project quotation.
• Execute product sizing and selection to match customer’s requirements
• Assist in providing training to existing or new sales partners/representatives
• Assist internal staff in clarifying technical questions related to orders received from
representatives or customers
• Actively supporting the entire inside sales team with the main phone.
Technical Sales Desired Skills:
• Mechanical engineering or Engineering Technology or similar skills
• Detail and process oriented
• Customer focused
• Committed with deadlines
• Self-manageable / Control
• Ability to Use Positive Language
• Clear Communication Skills
• Minimum of 2 years working as inside sales supporting customers and representatives
in a technical role mainly from the equipment industry
• Minimum basic MS Office tools is mandatory. Advanced Excel is a plus.
• SAP experience is a plus
