Sales Director North America

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base
  • Build a successful Sales team for the company
  • Drives and manages Key-Accounts
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Develops, executes, and monitors the Marketing Plan for Key Markets and Key Customers.
  • Positions the company as a strong technology leader and a reliable partner in targeted industries.
  • Ensures Sales performance goals are set and met to achieve the company’s sales, growth, and profitability targets.
  • Assumes responsibility for setting up the annual Sales budget for approval and executing it accordingly.
  • Reporting and managing through the companies CRM system
  • Reporting to US CEO and communicating regular with the German HQ

 

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree from a technical field or Business Degree with strong technical aptitude
  • 10+ years Technical Sales experience, including managing a sales department
  • Strong technical understanding and mindset, paired with a strong customer orientation
  • Experience and background in the semi-conductor arena very much desired
  • Ability to understand product lines and their functionalities
  • Hands-on and open minded, Self-starter mentality and accountability
  • Able to build teams and manages with a team approach
  • Multitask and can set priorities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solver mentality
  • Strong MS Office skills, has worked with CRM system
  • Able to understand and bridge cultural differences
  • Able and willing to travel 50% to 70%
  • Authorized to work in the US
