Sales Manager North America

Responsibilities:

  • Market development USA and CA
  • Acquisition of new customers (on site and over the phone)
  • Contract negotiations at C level
  • Consulting as well as active support of clients with regards to the implementation of modern eBusiness solutions
  • Market planning/development and product placement
  • Coordination of marketing initiatives in collaboration with the HQ

Education and Experience:

  • High school or college degree
  • Technical / software sales background, with a minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in a comparable environment
  • Working knowledge of sales methodologies
  • Excellent English skills, knowledge of Spanish or German an advantage
  • Familiarity with the hardware tool market a plus
  • Hunter/Closer mentality
  • Intercultural competence; prior experience working for a European-based company is highly beneficial
  • High customer orientation
  • Experience with long sales cycles
  • High level of self-motivation and self-organization
  • IT affinity
  • High flexibility and resilience
  • Decision-making ability
  • Ability to be successful in a small team environment
  • Some leadership experience (Note: Although this role does not come with people management responsibility, we are looking for someone with the potential to lead)
